I have received an N1 county court letter stating I have breached a contract for parking at McDonalds!! It says they have notified me of the breach but I have not received any such letter. I now have 14 days to reply or pay £80+£25 court cost + £50 solicitor cost!! All for parking to have a McDonald's!! I don't even know how long I stayed. Any ideas what to do as I have to reply in 10 days ..

You are in the "system" now so what you need to do first is to acknowledge the claim
Here is an example on how to complete it. Send it back to the Court and this gives you a further 14 days - total 28 days from the date of service.
Use the extra time to a) hassle McD's for a cancellation which they CAN do and b) get help writing a defence. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
