I signed up last year throught the previous pru health/gym offer but eventually cancelled becausee I changed job and the gym would be too out of the way.
There's a LA fitness around the corner from my new job. Can I apply again maybe using my parent's address and get the cashback?
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

When I click on the link through quidco it comes up witht he pruhealth site, not the boots one... Am I doing something stupid???

You need to go to the boots site first (ie not through quidco), submit a quote, then when you go back to Quidco and click it should redirect to the boots site - a cookie is saved that redirects you there. If you try that and it doesn't work, maybe your browser is set up to reject cookies? You might need to play around with that..
  • Guys, thx for all ur helpful advice. Im about to sing up for this. But can u still do the deal with cashback if u do the boots offer, as the other person, when i log in through quidco, it takes me to a non boots link. But i havnt joined quidco as yet, maybe thats why.

I did a quote, and i got it to £13 a monht for the insurance. So overall that'll work out to be £156. Now if i get the cash back that brings it way down. Plus id be getting gym membership dirt cheap £5 if i go twice a week which i do anyway. Is that right.

Plus guys its virgin active i wanna go but im not sure if it is tier 1 or tier 2 membership. One bit i checked said it was tier 1 -£5 a monht, other one said it was tier 2 - £15 a month.

Also is the virign offer a propr all day one rather than the cheap off peak ones.

    Cheerz
  • Hi, just been doing more research and ive answered some of my questions.

ANd you were right, it does redirect you to the boots site when it tells you how much it will cost you fore the insurance. However when you first enter the site, theirs a slight discrepency, and its to do with the Glasgow one being tier 1 or 2. In the FAQ's on the boots site regarding gym membership, it gives u a link to the borchure which tells u it is a tier 1 club.

However when you go through quidco, the first part tells you to select a gym to see potential saving, and their glagsgow comes up as tier 2 - £15 a month etc

    Slightly confused.

    Please help

I've joined about a week or two ago through Quidco and was shown the boots offer because of the cookies that another member mentioned above. Must say I've been really happy so far! My gym is excellent, has a pool and everything! Plus they're giving me personal training for free! The fitness check is really useful too.

Did you know you can stay at Champneys from £35 a night, INCLUDING Dinner, Bed, Breakfast AND lunch AND a massage, with pruhealth membership, once you've earnt enough points? This usually costs £200-£300 with a massage included!

What shall I put here?

Hi David, did your transaction show up in Quidco yet? I joined last week with boots via Quidco and it hasn't shown up yet...

David, how many points do you need for this offer and how did you find out about it? Thanks.

how much is everyone paying per month? I cant seem to work it out properly.

    Is it?... £25 activation fee
    £40 x 3 months (occassional user rate)
    £15 * 9 months (tier 2 virgin club)
    £16 * 12 months (Health Insurance)
    Minus £115 quidco

    Equals £357 which is £29.97 a month

Does that sound abour right, or am I missing something to get it a lot cheaper???

Just managed to get my quote down to £13.19 a month!!

So it now works out at £26.94 a month

    Ok mine is as follows:

£24.90 per month premium for health policy
£25 activation fee taken once for activation of gym membership
£75 taken at rate of £25 per month for first three months
£0 taken for gym membership after at regular user rate.
    £115 back from quidco
total £283.80 over 12 months equalling £23.65 per month for first year

Working towards Gold level for 75% discount off premium next year and will stay at regular user rate of £0 per month for gym as I go more than twice per week every week.

  • Hi, I just have a few questions.

firstly, has anyone found out if you can go through Quidco for the Boots insurance. And secondly, can I choose the cheapest option, i.e. the core plan for all this to work?

    Regards.
