I am putting some cut plasterboard around a small area and a protruding door frame in our utility room using the dot an dab method.
Do I still the the angle beads for underneath the plasterboard application for the protruding door frame or will placing the plasterboard together with dot and dab work ok?

Can't quite picture what you mean - but plasterboard would normally butt upto to door lining and then skim to it.
