Parking Charge Notice from Excel Parking Services LTD

Options
Hi, I received a Parking Charge Notice from Excel Parking Services LTD, whom I've had a permit with for two years, to allow me to park at my university car park in Ambleside, as where I live has no parking. I received the PCN on the 15th June 2015, I got a new car on the 12th June and went on their website to change my current permit to put my new vehicle on, which they charge £5 for which obviously I paid, i then put a temporary permit on my dashboard from the 12th-15th and saw quite a few patrol officers and never received a ticket, but on the 15th I received one under section 94, which means that I apparently parked without displaying a valid ticket/permit. They obviously didnt even look for a tempoary one that they themselves send out!! I appealed it straight away and now over a month later I haven't heard a single thing from them. I've only discovered this forum today and wish I'd never have appealed it to begin with. I'm just looking for advice on what to do next... I tried to upload an link to the PCN I recieved but It's not allowed due to me being a new user . Thank you in advance

not a lot you can do, you appealed and normally a company would have 35 days to reply , either to cancel or allow it to go to ADR, in this case, THE IAS

common sense doesnt always prevail in these cases , but hopefully it will in this case

use tinypic or photobucket to host pics, then add a dead hxxp link to it in your reply

you should tell the landowner to force the PPC to cancel the charge, that would nip it in the bud

if they do not accept the appeal , it would then go to the kangaroo court of the IAS ......... the kangaroo's dish out some incredible decisions .... and it would be nice to see what excuse tht they could come up with to refuse this one ;)

it is the forum guidance that people should ignore the IAS.

so if the appeal is not given , If the IAS appeal is overturned, IF it did go to court ...... how could any right minded judge not fall about laughing at the decision ?

This may well be of interest to Trading Standards, put in a complaint in writing.
