Neighbours guttering

Hi
Can u advise please
I recently had new guttering fitted to the front and rear of my house. My neighbour now informs me that it's leaking on their property since its been fitted. I have had an independent builder come to check and all my side is fine.
You can see a water mark from a leak but it's a joint on their side of the property. They are day I need to repair it?? Wouldn't it be their responsibility as its their side of property? It's not even the joint that joins the 2 properties

As the new guttering joins onto your neighbours gutter, it might be the case that when the installation was carried out, the fitters moved or damaged your neighbours gutter thus causing it to leak and if this is what has happened, it would be your responsibility to get the repair carried out.0

Thanks for quick reply, the part from where it's leaking isn't close to the joining section0

If the fitters have had to manipulate their guttering into your new one it may have caused an issue further along (not necessarily at the joint).
It is up to them to prove that the issue has been caused by your guttering though.0 -
We had new guttering fitted, and the had pulled the neighbors in both directions causing leaks on both sides. If it was the work to yours that has caused it then you should really be putting it right.0

For the sake of it, I would get the company back to make good the neighbours guttering.0

If it wasn't leaking before you had the work done the chances are it's been disturbed by yours being replaced. It's a very quick fix for the people you used to sort.0

^^^^^^^^ THIS
If it wasnt leaking before, and is now, then it is highly likely that your new guttering installation caused the leak.
Get the person who installed it to come back and fix it.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
