I am sure I have heard there is a site that if you are buying a caravan privately you can check the status of the cavavan - a bit like HPI for cars.

Can anyone please help?

    You will get a form to fill in to CRiS register it if you buy it, I think it is about £15. If it is very old (like our first caravan was) you get a kit to etch a number onto the windows.
