Meter reading outside office hours?

Last time I spoke to them about this they told me they could only do it in normal working hours and they expected me to use up annual leave to make myself available!

SSE run their own in -house meter readers.They are the highest paid meter readers basic salary as far as I know and should be prepared to work Saturdays or some late evenings.We (G4S ) have an appointment system for Saturdays and I m sure SSE will have to run one too. Also all meter readers work flexi hours between 8 am and 8pm so a late evening slot should be available..Other than that, if you leave the reading on display somewhere it will be easily spotted..
