Best thing to do with negative equity

The simplest is to put off buying the new car for a year or so, until you have paid enough on the present one to VT it.
That way you get 12 months use of the car and remove the negative equity.
How on Earth is the OP supposed to know what "VT" means?
I don't even know what it means.0 -

We'll never know, because they've not come back.
Not only do they want the magic fairy to make up the negative equity in their car, they want free advice without engaging with anyone too.0 -

Amazingly, I've never been near a PCP deal in my life (nor am I likely to), but I managed to work it out without even referring to Google. Once I'd realised you probably weren't referring to my old girlfriend Victoria Trent it wasn't hard0 -

What's arrogant about helping people to help themselves?
Quite a few of the hits refer back to this forum, in fact putting VT in the "search this forum" box gives 204 hits.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

If the OP knew about the initials "VT," it is unlikely he would be asking the question in the first place.
Taking the rise out of other forum members, because they don't know about your little codes, is what is arrogant.
People come to these boards for advice, the vast majority have no idea about initials, achronisms, codes and tricks of a trade. It is arrogant to assume that they know of these things.0
