Having visited American Shooters in Las Vegas, we would like to visit a range in Nashville. Does anyone have a recomendation for a range in or around Nashville at all?

Gun crime in the U.S. is now more out of control than ever. It makes the Wild West look like Play School. Over 1000 shot dead in the past month alone. Yes, over 1000.

By supporting facilities such as gun ranges it just encourages the gun loving US citizen to go out and buy a few more leathal weapons.

What on earth does shooting a lethal weapon do for anyone. It is not even being done for sporting purposes at such ranges.

Why not think again about the sense in discharging deadly pieces of lead at a target. Just imagine it is a relative of yours that the local high school nutter is aiming their supermarket bought gun at when you point the barrel and squeeze the trigger!

It might be worth trying Tripadvisor as you probably want a local to answer the question. Have a fantastic time in Nashville - I'd love to go!
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."

    Another vote for checking tripadvisor.

Myself and my son (26) went to a range in Australia and loved it, I meant to go when I was in Floria last year but never managed it.

As for those who are confused as to why people from the UK visit these places, well, it's fun, pure and simple. It's not something we can do over here and it's really good to have a bit of competition going in regards to targets etc. It's a new experience, strange at first and it fills you with respect for the process of gun use.

Guns exist. It's ever so slightly naive to think that if gun-ranges didn't exist, but the US constitution remained the same, that gun use/ownership/deaths would reduce.

If you feel that strongly speak to the US president/Congress/House of Representatives - but don't berate someone from the UK that wants the fun (sorry but it is) of shooting different firearms in a safe controlled environment just for the experience. :money:
