The Scotland and the North heats of The British Street Food Awards are taking place at The Boiler Shop in Newcastle, known for their legendary steamer weekends. There’ll be DJs and live music acts from Universal Music, the best street food you’ve ever seen, and food quizzes. On the evening, prepare for things to be turned up a notch with whisky, barbecue and beer. Street food includes a creme brûlee caravan, ice cream for grown-ups, dim sum, bangers and bacon, Neapolitan pizza with a twist, fish and chips and authentic Thai cuisine.
Entrants must be able to attend the event this weekend.
