I've not seen much mention of the Co-op's current deal here, so thought I'd mention if you're looking for an alternative cash boost.

The Co-Operative Bank offer £100 if you switch to their current account (£800 per month needs to pass through, only two direct debits, very competitive overdraft fees). If you follow the link through topcashback you will earn a further £52.50. The Co-Op say that they pay the cash incentive within 45 days of your first £800 payment being made into your account. Topcashback estimate it taking 8 weeks (and the Co-Op unusually, when you are initially referred to the site, ask for details to help with tracking the topcashback claim). The Co-Op also pay £25 to one of seven charities e.g. Oxfam, Water Aid. So in all a very good package.

It's £40.40 at the moment (unless it's different for me), but a good shout nonetheless.

There was a lot of forum talk about it a while ago when the £100 was first offered to switch, but it's died down now there are newer offers out.

Ah...I think if you have a premium tcb membership, which you are given for a period, it boosts your earnings.

I opened an account two weeks ago, switch happening next friday. TCB at £50.50 tracked fine (not premium member, the value does go up and down). Hoping for a quick turn around.

Sorry to disappoint but expect to wait the full 45 days from when the transfer happens for the Co-op payment and I would say 6 months for TCB. My TCB transaction was recorded on March 13 and has only just moved from pending to confirmed status.
