    Ive just re read the page from the link I gave above and here's the extract from what I read...


    E4 is the digital entertainment channel from Channel 4 and offers streamlined entertainment that‘s fun, young and sexy with all the quality and innovation that Channel 4 is famous for.

    E4 has sizzling brand new series of top US shows including Desperate Housewives, ER, Scrubs, The Sopranos and The OC. E4 also has the best in cutting edge British entertainment including brand new shows like Shameless and No Angels, as well as Channel 4 entertainment favourites like Derren Brown.

    E4 is included as part of the basic or primary channel package via most multi-channel operators. Unlike FilmFour, E4 is NOT a premium subscription channel and is available automatically to customers with the appropriate basic or primary channel.


    FREEVIEW

    E4 will be available on FREEVIEW from 27 May 2005. To get FREEVIEW just check your postcode is in a FREEVIEW coverage area on www.freeview.co.uk. You will need a small box which you can get at your local electrical retailer. Connect your box to your existing TV and aerial, switch on and enjoy E4 on FREEVIEW soon.

    Excellent news - will be retuning the TV for Men and Motors tonight - think already tuned into E4 but scrambled atm.

    Wonder if the Top Up TV slot is being freed up for Film 4?

    Great news .... now I should have enough time to find the bloody remote for the freeview box that our youngest .... erm ... hid somewhere at the begining of April which we haven't been able to find yet .... so no freeview being viewed in the house right now :o
    I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....

    I head it being mentioned on T4 one Sunday morning. Expect more adverts though. Big Brother is starting soon and they think the money they'll receive in advertising will cover lost subcription fees.

    But hey I have missed E4 loads since we cancelled our old Sky subscription last year.

    this is fab news!
    i only have topup tv for E4 so will cancel it now as all the other channels are rubbish
    reach for the moon because even if you miss you will still be a star!

    We should also be getting E4+1, by the way! In case you miss your favourite show, you can watch it an hour later :)

    Topup TV are planning to replace E4 on their pay TV platform but haven't yet announced what with.

    I was considering getting the basic sky package just so i could watch E4, not really interested in the other sky stuff!

    Does this mean the monthly fee for Top-Up TV cards will be reduced?? Me mam pays £8 a month for extra channels - including E4!
