Your FD is not finishing. Do you mean that your 5% interest rate will soon be finishing?
If your aim is to continue to get 5% interest then you have to wait 12 months between closing one Flexdirect account and opening another in order to be eligible for the enhanced interest rate.0 -

If you mean the introductory interest rate, then you really have not looked hard...
Their bold, not mine...If you have previously held a FlexDirect account in the last 12 months, you will not be entitled to the introductory rate or offer under a new agreement and therefore you will receive the standard 1% AER interest rate.0 -

So I could close, or downgrade to a Flexaccount, then in 12 mths open another FD - yes ? (assuming the offer is still there)
