Subboard for power of attorney and care questions?

A relative has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and we are trying to work out what to do with LPAs, care fees, looking ahead to funding a care home. There are some threads on the Marriage etc board, but I wondered if it would be possible to have a separate sub-board to bring everything into one place.
I think it's a very important subject, and central to long term family financial planning and management, so I think it would merit its own board.

Hi, I hope you get sorted.
Re the LPA I would move quickly as the relative will need to have mental capacity for it to be registered with: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/lasting-power-of-attorney-forms
There is a long application time as well. I sorted a LPA recently & it took about 13 weeks to get it registered.
