Double Glazing Firms in the Peterborough Area

Hello All!

I would really appreciate any advice you can give regarding uPVC Windows & Doors. I lost three and a half hours of my life last night with a guy from one of the National companies, and I understand this is the norm?

So I have decided that the best way to go is a local firm/sole trader. However, being relatively new to the area, I do not really know any tradesmen, or many locals who can advise.

We live not that far from you (near Spalding) and having had the man from probably the same company as you give me the biggest laugh in years when he quoted £14,000 to double glaze a dead standard three bedroom bungalow (but don't panic, madame, as we have this wonderful discount scheme and if you sign up now, the cost will reduce to only £8,000 - oh yeah?) We asked around the local tradesmen such as plumbers, electricians etc. Without fail, they had all used Nick Barrett to glaze their own homes.

A one man band and both sensibly priced and reliable, he has now double glazed two different houses for me and I have never had any reason to complain about anything. I don't know if he travels that far out but you can only ask him and see. 07810 205530

I had the experience of a man from a bogof company quoting me for double glazing quoted me £32,000 for windows told him more than i paid for the house. Couldnt get the buy 1 get 1 free on the windows because apparently i had to many.
