Spouse Pension?

I joined up in 1978 at 16 in boy's service and left in April 1989 aged 27 with exactly 9 years service, I was enrolled in AFPS75.

I've had a recent (ish) pension statement from AFPS but it doesn't mention if there is any spouse payment payable on my death, before or after I start drawing the pension at 60, in 7 years time.

It does have a statement saying benefits would be reduced if a spouse is more than 12 years younger than me, but doesn't state what any spouse pension would be (or would be based upon)!

Does anyone know, to save me writing off to the AFPS, if my wife would be entitled to a spouse pension when I pass away?
