hi all

for purposes of claiming PPI does anyone know how to obtain information from credit reports for more than 6 years ago?

You can't. You would need to write to the lenders concerned.

Question here is, do the CRAs actually delete data about you after six years?

If not, you could hit them with a subject access request.
