Claiming PPI for a current barclaycard

Hi all
I hope you can help me. I was called on Sunday by a company called Consumer Claims, during this conversation the lady said that the PPI claims were being expanded to include PPI hidden in interest payments as the payment isn't broken down. Can anyone give me any more information on this as I currently have a barclaycard and looking at the statement the interest payment seems particular blas!!

Many thanks

Alex

No idea what blas means. No one can give you any more information on PPI hidden in interest payments for the simple reason that its complete and utter rubbish. It's obvious if you have PPI on a credit card because it appears as an explicit charge on your statements. If no PPI charge is shown then you haven't paid it/don't have it.

Which of course is wrong and not possible. Typical BS given by low knowledge claims company sales reps happy to tell lies to try to earn their commission to sign you up

Interest is interest and contains no other element. It would break the consumer credit act if it did so.

PPi would appear either as a transaction with the rest of the transactions or in summary section (where it shows amount spent, amount paid, interest charged and PPI charged). It can vary between those two methods.
