Save me from going insane....please

I have been trying for hours, to get the url from my avatar to use elsewhere.....unsuccessfully. Where in heaven's name am I going wrong?

I've been right clicking and copying the address/url, but the site I wish to use it on says it is too big ie 95 X 95

u need to change the physical size of the picture.

download to pic (right click save as (i think))

open in paint and just shrink it as much as u can. also before u do that if u right click on it when downloaded and click properties it should tellu under 1 of the tabs what size it is currently so ukno roughly what to cut down on it...

well make a copy of the picture make it tiny. and see if that works...

Have you tried uploading it to a picture hosting site such as Photobucket etc?

On my forum you need to have your avatar stored at one of these sites to be able to use it?

Thanks guys it's all sorted now. My "eye's" are all over the net .

Mine was blinking but it isn't now. So I saved yours and tried to use that, but it says file failed.

.GIF files tend to stop working if they are resized.
