Wednesday 15th July - What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free!

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending!

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:

    Hi all

3rd interview today, not sure if I have ever had a third interview before, but I guess someone will be severely disappointed at the end of the day !

Sunny day at last so all washing out and machine on for the full force of a days tumbling and washing.

Finish off the tiling, had to get the materials yesterday so I spent cash.

Aldi & Tesco customer surveys to do.

Well already been a productive morning, we signed up to amazon prime last night for the free trial but its made us decide to cancel our sky tv. So rang sky this morning and gave 31 days notice, will save us £40.62 a month :)
I've been looking to order a fitbit since my birthday using some amazon vouchers from family but I kept putting it off anyway this morning it was on amazon's lightning deals for £30ish less then I'd been looking at it for, so its ordered and should arrive tomorrow :)
No gym for me this morning as we've ordered a mattress to be delivered today, (ds2 has had a growth spurt so had to buy a mattress as his feet were at the end of the cotbed one! Ordered via TCB so should get cashback. Coming between 2.15-4.15 arrgghhh why do these things always go over school time for me!

    Today's list
:starmod: Wash at 30 degrees in and on :)

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Car Insurance Carver! Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi All

Raining here. At 5.30 this morning cattle escaped and thundered around the yard. I thought I was dreaming and never got up. I was amazed however when I realised men were coming in having put naughty escapees back into shed! Oops, not very perfect farmers wife. So obviously I had a cup of tea and went back to bed. I did also thought shove on 2 loads of quick wash, tumbles dried one load and ironed it and naughtily left last load tumbling away on full rate electricity...Bad me. So not that MSE this morning.

Am now in work and having a nice cup of tea between client and thought I would post now as no internet at home. I think my laptop may have died, but maybe not, I will get DD BF to have a look at it this weekend, he is brave with technology.

Need to do lots and lots of farm paperwork, but it will have to wait until Sat. A lovely farmer died last week, much too young, he was only 82, and had I am happy to report never had a days illness in his life, was still planting trees and trying to improve his flock. A happy passing of a lovely man. I wonder if they have paperwork where he has gone?

    Have a good day everyone.

    Maria.
