Can we charge storage for uncollected item?

We had a lot of issues with Viking Direct, the couriers couldn't find our house but instead of letting us know this they just stated that we weren't in. Anyway after 4 days waiting in and lots of complaining, the item was delivered. We checked it and it was damaged, we reported this and had another 2 dates arranged where no one showed up each time.
Eventually someone did but not on the date arranged, which meant they delivered it to a neighbour whilst we were on holiday. Not collecting the damaged one. I phoned them and emailed and we have had two dates now set and no one has turned up to collect. What is our next step with this incompetent company? Are we within our rights to charge them storage? Thanks in advance.

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Can't charge storage but in order to discharge yourself from your duty of care (so you can dispose of it), you need to send them two written notices.
The page above gives the relevant information/details I believe. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
The couriers couldn't find your house? And it has been happening quite a few times? Sorry, but that strongly suggests that there is something about your house which is confusing people. Maybe you have a house name which is not easily recognizable on a GPS/PAF search etc. Maybe you live in confusing location (corner of two roads, obstructed entry to your house etc). What was their reasoning behind not being able to find your house?! Even mickey mouse can boot up google maps to search for a postcode and first line of address!!!
Is the courier and the seller the same?
Also, what kind of item is it?
You most certainly have SOGA rights for the faulty item, and you may be able to claim additional expenses (postage back, travel etc) but I don't think you'll be able to justify storage costs unless it is causing you to lose money in some way! The best way to resolve this is to find out WHY the couriers aren't finding your address (they have found it previously, so they can't be THAT incompetent!). Maybe even consider collaborating with the retailer and arranging your own courier on the fact that too many failed attempts have been made.
The bottom line is that you MAY be entitled to "storage costs" under certain circumstances, but they probably won't give you that up front and you'll have to take that to court (with no guarantee of winning!). If you don't have a solid argument (and it would need to cause GENUINE inconvenience) then you'll lose and it will cost you on court fees!0 -

It is a new build, but it comes up on Google Maps as the development has been here for years. Uber (Taxi company owned by Google) had no issues finding my address using Google Maps. I still put directions on the order and my number. So really there is no excuse. No other courier has difficulty finding this place and we have had deliveries from at least 4 different ones.
I think they have their own couriers, but I am not totally sure.
