I have bought a sideboard. Its flat pack.
So I need to build it :rotfl:
I got to this point. And now I am slightly confused.

I think that for the all 4 runners in the middle section I need to use screw A as per the balloon box.
As the main image seems to suggest I use all screw C.
Someone please confirm for me.
As I have half built sideboard LOL!!!
Thanks in advance.

2 bits of advice
on the bottom right of the picture is a box with the screws required for this step, I cant read it all but it looks like c X 18, in which case its all c screws (6 lots of 3)
next step is to count what you have left, and go through the rest of the instructions (after this step) and take out what you need for the remaining steps. once thats done if you have a lot of c's left its c's throughout, if you have 12+ a's its a's in the middle.0 -
The runners in 11 and 12 look different sizes / widths - are they?
From this I would suggest the two outer runners (11) should use screw C - these look wider runners and screw C looks the longer one.
The four middle runners look like they should use screw A - they look narrower - are they?
Have you followed the rest of the instructions though and worked out the qtys of screws you have vs the rest of the instructions?
If you use A in the middle and C at the sides, are the screws long enough and feel supportive enough?
All the runners look like they have dowel joints in the back too.
Does that help?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I went back and added up all the A's and C's as per each diagram.
And it seems the runners should all be c's.
So why chuck the extra balloon box in saying A's I have no idea.
So thanks for the help.

Glad you figured it out. Often these drawings are used in multiple items with amendments and sometimes they get printed with copy/paste errors. I recently put together a desk where the company had clearly updated the design based on the position of drill holes etc, but not updated the instructions. Thankfully I am relatively handy with flat packed furniture (except for a wardrobe, which we did manage to rescue thanks to a large amount of wood glue)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
