Where can i find the cheapest flight price to NYC

I am looking to fly to NYC from any London airport (probably Heathrow by the looks of things) on Christmas Day 2005 returning on the 28th Dec. Can anyone pass on any inside tips on getting the best price, other than offering to be loaded on as baggage?
