How do you watch movies on Google Play with no wifi

I have downloaded a few movies for my daughter on her kids Samsung Tab through Google Play for her to watch on holidays. When in the house I simply go into our Google Play account and go to my movies and watch. However to access it when not on wifi (i.e. on holidays) I cant get onto Google Play so I cant access the movies.
How do I get access to the movies with no wifi - do I have to save them onto a memory card or something?

Have you actually downloaded or just bought them, if you have bought, should be able to go into google play, click on my movies and just watch

I have purchased and downloaded from Google Play. My query is that when not on wifi I cant seem to get into the Google Play App to watch the downloaded movies, and consequently I cant watch the movies. I assume I am missing something obvious here.

which app are you using, just tried it here and it works offline.

I was trying to go through the main Google Play app but have found the movies and TV App and can get into it now when offline. Thanks
