hi there, first post folks:T Can anyone tell me if the company I work for as part of their package can put
in "you will be required to waive your notice period" as a condition? secondly can I ask for any payment
to be made by cheque? thirdly I have a student loan which takes a percentage (9%) of my wages above
the threshold .Would they take the nine percent of my lump sum? many thanks.

Yes - the employer can put any condition they want in. If you don't agree then you don't get voluntary redundancy. As for how it is paid - that is up to the employer. You can ask anything you like, but you can't insist on it.
No idea about student loans.0
