Defaulted accounts question

Hi All
I hope someone here can shed some light for me. I'm of course trying to be responsible now I am older and pay off the debts I owe. My question is this:
If your account is in default on your credit report, if you accept a lower payment offer, I know this shows as partially settled but also remains as a default. If I paid the full amount of debt owed with no discount, it shows as settled but does it still show as default?

Yes, as it will just be a satisfied/settled default, but still a default. Will stay for 6 years from the original initial default date.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
