Done an online chat with O2 this morning. They seem to be offering unlimited calls, texts and 2 g data for £17 month. Real person calling tonight.

Will pop into my local O2 store either today or tomorrow to see if I can squeeze a little more from them . Some sort of deal on RoI roaming charges would be my number one. New customer maybe!

This might not be correct, but I'm led to believe that 3 are taking over O2 masts, and possibly O2. Worth checking. I find 3 to be pretty good overall.

Popped into O2 in town today; they hadn't anything worthwhile to offer. The sales guy did mention the O2 and The 3 tie up so your on the right track Tickes

Just off the phone to 3. At the moment they can offer me 600 min, unlimited texts and 1 g for £11 a month. Unlimited texts plus 4 g data £21 month. I'm not particularly interested in data

That leaves me if I'm in the south I can call back home or any UK number within my minutes. If I call a southern number I am charged a roaming rate

The £11 is definitely worth looking at.

What is the price? if any to receive whilst roaming

That is the only figure i would be interested in.
