Garage door Costco?

Hi all,, need a new garage door looking at roller shutter type just wondering if anyone has had one from Costco and how their prices compare?
They give out leaflets in store but no prices, have to book an appointment with a sales rep for quote.

    The actual garage door is going to be the cheap bit - fitting will cost an arm and a leg.
    Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring

    Er Ok I thought supply and fit was all included? have you had one fitted by Costco?
    I picked up a brochure last time I went there cant find it now. Theres nothing on their web site about garage doors and I am a long way from nearest store. Just wnted to know if anyone has used them and how the pricing compares.

    Just be wary, and very careful over the quality. But since your post only mentions price perhaps you are not concerned by this approach?

    Another way of looking at it is: would an Architect draw up a Specification for a new home and state that "the garage door must be a Cardale, or a Hormann, model xyz, supplied and fitted to the manufacturers instructions" or would he say "just pop down to Costco and add one in with your weekly shopping?"

    All of the items I have ever purchased from Costco have been of good value and quality.
    We purchase all of our electrical items from them

    You're quite cynical, nay a little stuck-up, aren't you Furts - guess you're a "glass half empty" kind of person...

    It's a tie up with a 3rd party supplier (GDS), it's not like you stick one in your trolley.

    Get the leaflet/brochure in store then contact supplier directly for local installer to come to do survey & quotation. I looked at them for mine last year but it wasn't especially good value from what I remember, so I didn't go with them. It's all here;

    The rule of the Forum is not to encourage trolls, and to ignore all personal attacks.

    Humour and effect appear to be lacking in your post. I am aware that one does not put a garage door in the trolley.

    Equally I am a member of Costco and aware of this service.

    You have commented that it was not especially good value. I have commented to beware of the quality. So these comments are not two singing praises for this service offered by Costco.
