Speed up incentive gains.

Problem with doing two switches in tandem. It's the amount of DD you need.

If you have a say £100 on a long interest free credit card, the minimum payment should count as a DD, and if there is any mistakes I am covered by the switching guarantee.

Am I wrong? No expert but learning every day.

You're not wrong re the credit card, but with £25 minimums it'll only see you right for 4 months! There are easier DDs to obtain.

There are a few (at least 3) switching incentives available that do not require DDs so the "problem" isn't as big as you perceive it to be.

Could you name these for me please? I think that Halifax is one of them but the others?

Actually there are at least 4 (5 if you're in NI), so it might be just as easy to list those that DO require DDs. MSE have done both in the best bank account article on the main site.

Of course this should be verified by visiting their respective websites.
