Does anyone know what CLICK TO RUN software is - and why Office 2013 Pro Plus should be deemed to be "click to run" ?
It appears to be software installed from MSI - But my Installation was from a normal EXE (from DVD)

Right - so, since this was not from a download (or MSI) - it is NOT click to run ?0

If I read it right, MS re-invented the wheel formerly known as "portable apps"...0 -
OK - Refreshed my laptop which meant that I had to re-register Office - and it "gave me" a CLICK TO RUN installation (I was given no choice) !!
What difference will this make to me (apart from the added unwanted Skype) ?
It won't expire after 12 months or anything similar will it ?0
