Past Due Credit

Hi
My partner has today received a letter from past due credit solutions claiming she owes £550 in overpaid tax credits. She has had no communication at all direct from the HMRC. I have seen that PDCS are listed as a debt recovery company on the HMRC webpage but find it odd that they have not contacted us about this before.
Does anyone have any advice on what to do now. Should we write to HMRC to see if this debt really exists??
Many Thanks

Only contact and deal with HMRC themselves, they are very helpful and reassuring, Pastdue or Past Due don't answer or even acknowledge communications with them, which demonstrates either a lack of professionalism or scam, don't be bullied by their inaccurate demands and empty threats.
I repaid my debt to HMRC two years ago, Pastdue or Past Due will get precisely £00.00 from me....0
