Is there a time limit on when an n30 (I think) form can be sent in?

Im wondering as I received a "general form of judgment or order" on the 19th June which said the claimant may request judgment in default and I've heard nothing since. I have written to the court asking for what is happening but have had no reply from them.

Still no reply from the court. Is that normal for the court to ignore letters? Not knowing what is going on is stresssing me.

Call them? The courts are usually pretty helpful if you just call up.

Form N30 is a notification sent out by the Court informing the defendant that the claimant has won a judgement against the defendant by default. (Because the defendant did not reply to the claim within the 14 days allowed)

Maybe the form you have received has been sent to you in error??

As already advised, phone the court and quote the case number to clarify what has happened.

Six months without further permission from the Court but will need to know context.

Are you the Defendant? If so file a Defence asap.

The Courts have backlogs with the cuts so the request maybe stuck somewhere in their pile of work.
