Help with Balance Transfer

in Credit cards
Am I the only person who seems to have this issue but I have a credit card that I have about 2k on and I want to transfer the balance into a new 0% card but when I apply (I applied with Tesco) they only gave me a 1500 limit and advised that I can only move over 1400 into it so I have now applied making my credit file but I don’t want the card as the limit isn’t large enough.
Does anyone have any advice for me? I don’t want to be in a situation where I have more than 1 card at one time and if there is anything I can do ?
Thanks
Emma

Just transfer £1400 and then apply for another card if you wish?Does anyone have any advice for me?
Not much. Beggars can't be choosers.I don’t want to be in a situation where I have more than 1 card at one time and if there is anything I can do ?
You can keep applying, but the more you do this the less likely you are to get accepted, let alone to get a bigger limit.
Have you tried using 'soft' eligibility checker(s) before applying for real?0 -
