Help with Balance Transfer

Am I the only person who seems to have this issue but I have a credit card that I have about 2k on and I want to transfer the balance into a new 0% card but when I apply (I applied with Tesco) they only gave me a 1500 limit and advised that I can only move over 1400 into it so I have now applied making my credit file but I don’t want the card as the limit isn’t large enough.

Does anyone have any advice for me? I don’t want to be in a situation where I have more than 1 card at one time and if there is anything I can do ?

Just transfer £1400 and then apply for another card if you wish?

Not much. Beggars can't be choosers.
You can keep applying, but the more you do this the less likely you are to get accepted, let alone to get a bigger limit.

Have you tried using 'soft' eligibility checker(s) before applying for real?
