Childcare Costs Help Please!

Hope somene can help - our baby daughter will be going into childcare 3 1/2 days a week from 01/10/15 - she will be 10 months old at this point.

My wife and I are on moderate salaries and the childcare will be costing approx £900 a month Which is a good chunk of one of our wages each month.

Does anyone know if we are entitled to any help with this childcare cost? I've read that only from 2 years plus we can get help but am very confused with it all??

Any advice anyone can offer would be much appreciated

I work 37.5 hour a week and the wife will be working around 26 hours.

Combined income will be around £45,000 roughly

If the household income was £45,000 for both last tax year and this tax year then you wouldn't be eligible for any help.

Do you know at what age we are elidgible for help? I've read that free chilcare is increasing to 30 hours? At what age is this for?
