Monday 13th July - What small DFW things will you do today?

Hi Dudes
Back again after a very busy day. I may fail to run the hoover round being generally pooped. But other than that have managed quite well.
£3 in tips today, so have sent that to the PAD gods. Pushing my snowball downhill all the way
Have made my 6th of 12 payment to HMRC today for late PAYE. Its not nice owing them, but I havent taken on any new staff since the reopening. So come January, thats a huge amount that will not be coming out of the business every month, unless I do.
My friend has offered to look after my son for the day next week, which is brilliant as it saves me £30! Terrible, but trueShe has a 6 year old daughter who he gets on well with, so hopefully will be a nice day for all of them.
Have just done a bank rekkie on both sides.
Carrie - Thanks for looking in, missing your full updates, hope you are ok.
Ally - Thanks for the Tescimo tip. I do that one. Also the Orchard programme just awarded me 5 points today for Steak follow up work. Any ideas when the current collection period ends?
Determined - Its good to look at all the angles as they say. Hope the interview comes off anyway!
Foxgloves -Do you ever miss the rat race? Or are you happy being home?
Maria - Your comments made me chuckle last night, & the afternoon tea sounded fantastic. I love a nice afternoon tea. Whilst I have my name dropping pants on, I'd have to say Claridges was my favourite. I took my best friend who was also my head hen, in 2006, and it was magical. Got dressed up to the nines in a beautiful Hobbs spotty silk dress, that still hangs in my wardrobe, despite the fact I have no idea when it will ever be worn again& enjoyed every moment of the tiny sandwiches, live music, & generally being pampered. In fact I may try and put go out to afternoon tea at the top of my list once the debt is paid off.
Hannah - Are you ready for end of term now?
Love to everyone else!

Good evening everyone,
Lost my phone/iPad charger on Thursday evening so not been able to post, been reading on my laptop but unable to log in! Cheers for the comments bob :-D
Had a very good weekend
# another payment made on c/c so now down to £315 left to pay
# won the bonus ball at work Sat night, £80! So took that and a extra £30 to convert into euros today for my holiday spends. Really made up!
# been given a free (like new) futon bed perfect for dd1 room for chair & sleepovers
# £7 tips Saturday Night into sealed pot, kinda lost count now with a few hectic weeks but over £120 in their. This was going to be my holiday spends, however I don't think I'll need it now with my recent lucky fourtunes (about time lol) so I'll think I'll just carry on with til its full and maybe use as a deposit for another holiday next year or somthing
# Childminder has booked same week off in the holidays as me, so extra £84 up on my holiday week and no need to find childcare!!
# DD1 won trophy for tap :-D and has now started street dancing as well
# Bargin Barbie house in asda for £15, put away for Christmas
# Newphew getting his first house in 9 days and I'm in a position I can buy them somthing for the house. Feels good.
# Cuboards, freezer, fridge etc fully stocked, it's been a while lol
Life is good. Been so long struggling and now everything slotted into place. I think went you go through hard times and then things ease up as you pay more and more things off, your life is double rich as you carry on the frugal ways and have the extra income you were paying off the debts! Feel like good times ahead for me and my girlies. Feeling blessed xDebt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0 -

Evening all!
Good luck with the interview, DNMS
I am still struggling along, payday is on Wednesday and with a bit of jiggerypokery I won't go over my overdraft limit but I've had to take back the money from my savings again so that is back down to zeroI'm going to try the putting everything in envelopes method this month (I don't usually like to have cash) and I'm going to split the money to go for 5 weeks instead of 4 and then rinse and repeat for the next couple of months and I figure in 4 months time I'll have a sort of extra payday (apart from the direct debits which will still be coming out every month.) I don't know if it will work but I'm prepared to give anything a try!
Work should be quiet at the moment as my boss is away for two weeks with an unreliable internet connection but I'm still working flat out because I like to get everything done and then kick back a bit rather than taking it slow and then being stuffed if something unexpected comes up.
I'm planning on going to look at a house that has been on the market for a while that I discounted for a couple of reasons, one being the price, but the price has dropped and it *still* hasn't sold so I'm thinking there might be some more movement maybe.
My mum gave me some money for my birthday which I am planning to use to get the floor sanded in the sitting room and the carpets shampooed in the rest of the house and then it will be ready to go on the market again.
Must dash, Big Brother...

Thanks Ally. I wonder if start or end. I have some vouchers for a day out that expire on 31st August. But we can't use them until we get the last of the vouchers. Due in that pay out whenever that will be." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
