I'm in a similar situation and got a cleaning job. It isn't glamarous but it's only an hour or so in the morning in a restaurant before the place opens.
They do pay quite well also - an extra £300 a month (after tax) - I can still do my normal day job, I just get up earlier.0 -
you could also sign up with temp agencies, esp coming up to xmas, bar and waiting on staff are in short supply and you can work as little or as much as is suitable for you. Also you may then get the contacts for the venue you are temping at and put your name down as casual staff- they call when v busy or are short staffed, if you can go in short notice, great, if not, they just phone the next person on the list! BTW - just think how much stronger and more independent you'll be after this. When you're ready- what a catch you'll be!!!0
