SAR Help needed

Hi

Jus trying to figure out if it's worth sending SAR requests to a few companies. I have has a few successes with mis sold PPI through Lloyds so thought I would look into the ones I don't really have any account info for. I have previously had PPI on loans/credit cards with

Abbey National
Egg
HFC bank
kays

Some of these are longer than 6 years so is it worth sending a SAR to all 4 as I know this will cost £40 and I may not get any info back! I know I had PPI on all of these and in particular I know HFC screwed me over as they managed to talk me into transferring my monthly pay loan over to a credit account telling me it would be a better rate for me, I only realised that's what they did when another advisor called months later to tell me that they could get me a better rate and it was going to take an age to pay off the existing debt with the amount I was paying!!

Also I know these companies have all now been taken over by some one else which is why I've left it this long

I have also got married since paying these all off so what do I do about my name??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated but I also should say I've always had great sickness benefits and worked 2 jobs so wouldn't have been classed as redundant so a policy wouldn't have ever paid out for me

Thats a gamble you have to decide to take or not. or you could just ring them up and ask.

Send in a certified copy of your marriage certificate with each one.

You would need to check with each company as they'll have their own rules.

You can actually get an official copy, but it'll cost you about £10.
