i am going to majorca soon with norwegian airlines. and it looks to me that i can take 20kg in hold and 10kg in cabin luggage. it doesnt mention any cost for luggage as most other airlines do. i was just wondering if anyone has flown with them recently and can let me know if this is true, would hate to get stung when i arrive at airport

They normally charge for checked luggage and for assigning seats: check the deal that you have got.

They have different fare packages, you can opt to be quoted a fare with or without luggage. It will show on your booking whether you have paid for checked in luggage or not.

what doc should i be checking my reservation just says by each name 1 x 20kg 1 x hand luggage. i even rang them this morning and they were a bit vague. think i will contact expedia and see what they say, thanks

They work like most other low cost airlines and charge for baggage.

However if it says 1 x 20kg 1 x hand baggage on your booking details then it looks like your booking does have hold baggage included.

FWIW my daughter booked a package through Expedia, including flights on Flybe, who always charge for checked luggage. It was only when she reached the airport that she knew for sure that her package included her checked luggage. So you might be OK.

Does your booking say you have booked Lowfare+ or flex tickets? These fares have hold luggage included, the cheapest, Lowfare, tickets charge extra for hold luggage

Have to say I like Norwegian, definitely one of the best low cost airlines.

My son traveled to Oslo with them and hold luggage was included.

We flew with Norwegian last year from Cologne to Malaga.

Basic flight cost ("LowFare") was £26.90 pp. Extras were seat reservation (£9) and Checked baggage (£9).

It was a newish plane, service was good. We particularly enjoyed the free onboard wifi throughout the fight
