Quit my Job Voluntarily due to wife's health

  • Wow, thanks for all your replies. To clarify our position a little, the Cancer (of the breast) hasn't really caused my wife any serious illness (apart from the Chemo sessions) and is generally coping quite well, so we don't think she would qualify for a PIP, ditto for the ESA. Her work (Self Employed) foster carer continues so we don't think that would be allowed either.

However, the option of Pension Credit looks more encouraging. I'll do more research and come back to the Forum.

Many thanks again for all your suggestions.
