Dart Charge Auto Topup
Options
I recently setup a dart charge account and am wondering whether to use a direct debit or credit card for auto top ups.
The advantage of a direct debit is that I'll get notified immediately if any money gets taken.
However if there is any dispute then which is more protected?
For recurring payments I normally avoid a credit card, but if a charge back is easier then it makes sense. However as the credit card just buys you credit on your account then I'm not sure that you're covered if the crossing decides to debit your account erroneously.
If they'd text me when payment was due then I'd do it manually, but emails aren't something that I monitor that closely.
