I have a large Green Patio Gas bottle.....and a Big BBQ coming up.
Now have tried the stick on gadgets that tell you how much is left in the bottle, but have little success.
So can anyone tell me how much a full??? ( even half empty) green bottle weighs
My is at 20kg .......nearly empty ??

No, Weight on to plate says 28 ?
So 28 minus 20 , should leave me over half a bottle.0 -
I pick up and shake mine and can usually tell from the sloshing (or lack of it ) if there's enough.
Not scientific but never run out mid bbq so far.Forgotten but not gone.0 -
You can buy devices for measuring how much is left in a gas bottle.
But this idea looks a bit cheaper...........

If you have the green one, does it not have a gauge showing how much is left? I buy the blue ones that don't have a gauge, so I have to do as Tony said. I recently went to buy a new one and the green ones (lower quantity of gas) had gauges fitted.0
