What problems are you having with Argos? Sorry if you've said and I've totally missed it. I'm having problems with them too. The interest they're adding is more than my minimum payment and they keep writing to me saying that I've made late payments and they're adding £12 late fees.
Hi LadyM
Pretty much the same really - interest keeps getting added at a shocking rate and after a year on the DMP I've barely made any headway. I've complained but they have refused to stop or even reduce interest and also declined to default. Complained again - no response this time. Had enough and finally doing something about it
I did consider staying with SC and making overpayments where possible but it seemed silly to stretch myself to such an extent. So I'm taking back control - they will received £1 a month for however long it takes.MFW!

Just wondering (planning ahead a little) a little bit about annual reviews for DMPs.
According to others' experiences, when you do a review, do you need to send in paperwork again (e.g. agreements, pay slip copies etc)? Or do they just alter the parts that might be needed, such as the budget?
Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm still in my first year of mine, so not reached one just yet.0 -

Don't worry about it, it's a simple and straightforward process:).
No, you don't need to send any paperwork:j. They may want something if there's been some really major change of circumstances but I've never sent anything to them in my 3 reviews.0 -

After the 14 days they give you to rectify the breech, all interest and charges should stop, if you don't do as the default notice says.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Own property with £125k equity, and need to move to property soon (next 10 yrs) to help with disability needs and access
Finally juggling went wrong and and the result is
Four credit cards totalling £25600, consisting of:
£2000 overdraft

Santandair £8210
B a rclaycard £1830

How do I sort this out, with a DMP does the figure get reduced? Do I need to sell my home?

Hi,
No from what you've said a DMP would take far too long.
Just going by what you've told us, if you sold up, paid off your debts, you could rent somewere and still have approx 100k in cash.
Maybe start a new thread in the general forum then people will be able to help you, this thread is a DMP thread, so yours could be missed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hi change
With SC you just fill in the on- line budget and submit it, no payslips or bills have ever been requested from me, now past 3rd review. Can't comment for others.
No need to wait a year if something has changed drastically and you want to adjust your payment can do it anytime.
Also don't panic if you fill it in and they say to call, I have to each time as the DFD is over 10 years and they have to check the DMP is the right option.
SazDebt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.
Estimated DFD August 2018 - 2031 - now 2027 :T

Hi everyone, after following this thread silently for a few years I have finally taken the plunge and hope to give back some help that I have recieved. Started DMP with SC nearly eight years ago £74235 over 9 creditors my stories not much different to many no outlandish living, hours cut back, child came along filling the "gap" with our flexible friends, you all know the story. LBM Mar 2009 had to pay mortgage with last drop of cash on CC:eek: .Rang stechange and it changed our lives forever. We now have £15000 left to pay and will be debt free end of 2017:D Ihave learned a few things along the way so I hope I can be of help to some one cheers LL0
