Anyone know where to get money advice?
As everyone said, the advice will vary depending on whether it's a spare £90k, or all the money you've got, and whether you're going to need it next year or not for twenty years, what your attitude to risk is, whether you're more interested in capital growth or income, whether you even mean "invest" as many who ask actually mean "save".0 -
He asked where would you invest 90k. Therefore the original poster's circumstances are completely irrelevant. He asked a very simple question.
Personally, I would throw around 10k into cash savings, and the rest split between a vanguard global index tracker, some p2p lending, and some dividend growth shares0 -

Buy a really good bed, a Relyon or better.
Put in a really good Bathroom, with a Monsoon shower and a jacuzzi bath.
Preferably underfloor heating with tanking.
I find dreaming about striking it rich extremely satisfying, whether in bed or soaking in Radox. In fact, actually having £90k cash, which I do, in Santander 123 and ISA, is somewhat annoying. Too scared to risk it, too guilty to spend it. From roughly seven years ago, I easily spent £70k to £90k over several years on home improvements.
Really good investment in my happiness.0 -
