New tap advice Standard house -is it a 1 bar system?

Just thought I would run this past you lot before I commit.
I need a new bath tap & shower mixer-the one i have seen is advertised as 'Min operating pressure 1 Bar'. Now I have a standard 3 bed two story home but how do I know if my house is 1 Bar and not a lower pressure system which would make this tap incompatible?

Thanks for any advice

It really depends how your hot and cold water is supplied to the bathroom.

If you have a combi boiler and no cold water tank in the loft, then it's high pressure.

If you have a hot water tank in the airing cupboard and a cold water tank in the loft, it's low pressure and the tap would be no good.

If you have a hot water tank but no cold tank, then it's probably one of the new pressurised hot water systems, so that's high pressure again.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
