This site...GRRRRR!!!!!

It recognises my user name as having joined 19 1 2007 after having to reset my password today, now I've only done 1 post (this will be 2)...what a pile of poo!!!

    And now it suddenly remembers me.....I know I've used capital letters in my name this time, but also tried that last time too...hate it when I get messed around by passwords and user names that I know are correct 1st time around.

    Scarier still, I never joined until 2010 so have no idea where they got the 2007 date from.

    2007 will be the earliest on the database most likely.
    I'm guessing it referencing the database for your details.

    Classic PEBKAC error by the sounds of it.

    You clearly have two different accounts and have logged in with the wrong username.

    Initially I thought it was PEBKAC too, so was extra careful after having the first user name/password error....my user names and passwords are written down (yes, I know) with Capitals, spaces, underlines all clearly laid out...and as I often log into MSE was surprised to have gyp this evening.

    Anyhow, not to worry...seems to have let me back in with my real user name and password now.
