Travel Insurance and Medical Query

We have just booked flights and accommodation for a DIY holiday to Florida next year and I need to organise travel insurance. Situation is that my other half has been suffering from shoulder pain for a couple of weeks and after visiting a GP was told he has torn something in his shoulder and been referred to physio. We have not yet heard anything from the physio so he hasn't yet had an appointment with them.
This hasn't stopped him from doing anything other than working out at the gym.
When looking for travel insurance do I list this as a muscle tear? Also, am I right in assuming that I have to tick yes to this being an ongoing condition?

yes its pre-existing and so should be declared. If he is still receiving/ awaiting treatment and/or still in pain then it is ongoing.0
