Hi, can some one help me with tax credits as im just going round in circles and i realy do not understand any of it.
For the year 13/14 i earnt £3528 (carers allowance)
For the year 14/15 I was paid carers allowance from april 14 to 26 jan 15 £2916
I started work on the 5th jan 15 at 30 hours and made a tax credit claim, resulting in an award for £52 weekly. (im assuming this was based on 13/14 income?
my p60 from work from 5th jan 15 until april 15 states total income £2,470
I have just renewed and done a change in circumstance for the following reason.
I continued working at 30 hours until the 7 july 2015 (this week) and have informed them of a wage and hours increase until 6th april 2016 (im doing a maternity cover).
in the meantime i have still been recieving the £52 weekly payment from tax credits.
The guy on the phone kept putting me on hold and eventually came back and said thank you all done....i asked if id had an overpayment and he said there might be? but wait for your award notice to come through.
Now im very worried but cannot work any of it out as i now have brain mash.
can anyone help please?
