Laptop/PC Insurance

Hi all,
I just got a second laptop and a desktop in my name. They are all gaming PC's so are valued at around £1000 each. I dont have a lot of money but I really wanted to insure them (not least of all because my BF has a habit of cracking the screen on these things by accident).
I am with Endsleigh student insurance which terminates at the end of next month. It only lets me cover one laptop though and I have heard lots of negative things about it recently so I decided to look elsewhere. I only decided to go with Endsleigh as it was cheap and my Uni promoted it so much I assumed they trusted it.
The main problem is I have read so many reviews about how bad these companies are at paying out. I have never made a claim for anything myself, and I have been insured for 4 years.
ProtectYourBubble had tons of great reviews about how easy it is to set up the account and give them money, but terrible reviews on making a claim.
I was thinking about going with my bank (HSBC) but they have no reviews.
I have no faith in getting insurance now and dont know what to do. I pay about £12 a month but dont want to throw away month or leave my laptops/desktop unprotected. Any suggestions?

Why not just cover it under your Home insurance which will have the advantage of being New For Old where as many tech policies only cover refurbished price0

Please check any excess on pc's or tv's. My insurance company have a 250 pounds excess.0

PatchDaddy your excess is £250 because that is what YOU choose as the voluntary excess when taking out your policy. You wouldn't have a separate excess for different items on you policy.0

Some companies have increased excesses for different items on their policy.
If a company is going to do this, it would be RSA / More Than0 -
My sister claimed for a lapop and found that for a few £ more, she could have just gone out and bought a better one and not have increased premiums and a claim to declare.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
