I'm not in the Core Group for receiving the Warm Home Discount, but applied online with eON as soon as they opened for applications for 2015/16.
I wasn't expecting to hear anything for months, but yesterday I received a letter telling me I will be getting the Discount.
Now that's good service.

I'm really pleased you'll be receiving the discount
It is based on a on a first come first served basis, so it's best to get the application in as soon as possible.
You’ll receive the discount by 31st March 2016, it's intended to help you with your winter electricity bill.
