virgin refusal to renew...

im coming to the end of my 0% period with virgin and my current issue card expires in a few months time, they've now sent a letter to say they wont be renewing it when its out, i can keep on paying but once my balance is paid im no longer a customer!

why is this? ive paid regularly (mostly the minimum amount plus approx £30) so why has this happened? ive gone self employed 3 yrs ago is this relevant or just because i dont 'use" the card for new spending? i have been late paying a couple of time usually due to website issues on there end
or is it something else????

hope someone cannshed some light on it please?

  • They don't want you as a customer anymore. That's all there is to it i'm afraid.

Being late a few times may have affected their decision. You could have easily set up a dd to avoid this happening.

Because you were on a promotional rate I take it that was withdrawn because of a late payment and you phoned them to get it reinstated.

By your post it was not just once but a few times.
